We are getting close! Lots of things are happening in the next couple weeks and we wanted to share some updates.
We've begun to fill the humidor with some of the finest cigars in the world and we are pleased to announce that we will be putting a special emphasis on Texas-based cigar companies. We will carry all the wonderful sticks from Arturo Fuente, Padron, Perdomo, Plascencia, etc. but we also want to be a spot that could hopefully introduce the cigar aficionados to something new from a company right in our own backyard. From Rojas Cigars in Richardson to Southern Draw in Austin, there are many fine cigars that can be enjoyed by some great local companies. If there is a cigar you'd like, feel free to let us know and we'll do what we can to get it to you in a timely manner.
Our furniture is starting to arrive! Three guys picking out furniture is worse than asking your wife what she wants for dinner and her telling you "I don't care. You pick." and then she gets angry at you for choosing the wrong one. Been quite the journey with that. Mostly genuine leather seating throughout. Comfort and relaxation is key for all of us. We decided that if it wasn't comfortable enough for our home, it wasn't comfortable enough for our lounge.
Lockers are fully installed and ready to be filled with your favorite cigars. The back of the lockers are all perforated along the back to be exposed to the humidor. Our goal was to ensure that the quality environment we offered in our humidor would be the same as inside your locker. We have ~40% of our lockers left available. We hope to see some TexAgs members join in on that last 40%.
What we have on schedule:
We are having our soft opening for Heights White Linen Night on August 5th. We would love to have you come by and do a little celebrating with us as we begin this endeavor. We will have plenty of cigars available to purchase along with complimentary refreshments, music, and some snacks. We'd love to tell you more about our membership opportunities and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Following our soft opening will be our grand opening which is tentatively scheduled for August 11th. There will be another event/celebration for the grand opening as well.
