Definitely The Woodlands. Last time I had dinner there, the next table was literally passing Rolexes around. Juuuust rich enough to tell everyone how rich you are, but not rich enough to shut up. The Woodlands.
This is gold.

I spent about two minutes yesterday looking for the link to that thread on the outdoors board, but I had things to do so I gave up pretty quickly. Someone started a thread a while back about University police surplus Glock pistols, and I believe I was the first reply on that thread, saying something like "I would love to have one of those". I really would. In TexAgs fashion, the thread devolved, and someone posted a picture which was taken very recently of the university police riding around with bicycle helmets on their new electric scooters. I really don't care who you are… they looked like dorks. Someone said something like "think of all the crimes those pistols had stopped", to which I replied something like "yeah, I just think of all the MIPS, jaywalking, and riding bicycles on sidewalks tickets those things have seen."
Apparently that was an affront to someone's identity, so they got on my website and instead of calling me they called my mom, screaming at her. She called me laughing afterwards saying that the guy wouldn't stop screaming so she just put the phone down and let him vent while she sewed. When this old man stopped screaming, she picked the phone back up and told him it sounded like he had anger issues and needed to talk to someone about it. He kind of agreed which was the funniest part to me. And that was it. I don't hate the police, my friend in Bryan PD has made way funnier (and meaner) jokes about University/CS police, and I won't repeat those. College Station and the University itself is a very safe place and I'm not sure why we can't poke fun about that. But that episode taught me that people are crazy and can't handle jokes.

Can anyone tell me a fantastic restaurant ideally on the College Station side of Houston? I have a big deal closing soon and want to come celebrate at an amazing restaurant. Think The Republic in College Station but even nicer. Also doesn't have to be a steakhouse. Something like $200-250pp with a couple cocktails would be perfect. Thanks in advance for any help!

lol nope. Granted I'm pretty intrigued with this thread. Not everyday I get to see someone post about the "college station side of Houston". Impressivejja79 said:
