Anyone recall the polka musician who disappeared in Fort Bend County? All the ever found was his license plates near the Colorado River. Word was he owed money to a bunch of people. That was a crazy deal.

does anyone think it's odd that the wife reported him missing at 8:45 am?
If he usually left for work early and went to office it just seems odd that he was only gone for 4 hrs before she called police and said he was missing? I think most professionals go multiple hours during the workday without communication with their spouses. I have plenty of days with back to back to back meetings where I might not communicate with anyone outside those meetings for 4 hrs.

Looks like he had two lawsuits filed against him in June (one on Friday actually). Both in Kings County, NY though. Probably the home of the Plaintiffs, Wynwood Capital and Novus Capital Funding. Was he simply over-leveraged?
Are there other parties involved? If he (and/or his company) was the only Defendant, it's odd that it wouldn't have been filed here.
If its a loan, which it appears to be, then venue is likely to be where lendor is under the terms, right?

I would imagine there were several frantic calls to his cell phone, which would have been off or destroyed by then. Maybe calls to business partners or other friends who also couldn't reach him? I have no idea how it played out, but she knows him better than anyone.

Timing of lawsuits seem interesting but could be unrelated. Successful people don't do things like this over $150k in litigation, you get an attorney and move on.
But the lawsuits could mean greater financial trouble, such as gambling losses. Which can put a person under a lot of stress.
If hes out there, and I hope he is, he is running from something big. Men dont leave their kids like that.

That's a huge part of what I don't understand. Bankruptcy is not the end of the world, by a long shot.
