His truck was apparently found torched at that Bear Creek park. Also people are asking for video footage in his West U neighborhood between 3:30 and 4:30 Wed morning.
I do not know him. But he used to have kids and my kids' school and my wife knows his wife. It sounds bad. Praying for them.

I wonder what he was doing out at 4 am on a weeknight? One of the prior reports asked for people in west u to look at their security cameras for video between 3:30-4:30 am to see if you could locate his truck driving by.

There are a lot of details that don't make sense right now
Don't know him, either, but our daughters do cheer together and our wives know one another. Definitely an odd deal.

Thefts of pickups and pickup parts have been through the roof since school let out. Could have caught a thief in the act and then would up dead because of it.

I have tried to ponder and my wild speculation ranges from faking disappearance to shady 4am deal gone wrong and killers/captors had to torch the evidence. From what I've heard, him leaving the house at 4:30 was slightly earlier than usual, but not so early that it would raise alarms.
Gotcha, I guess I forgot about how many absolute psychos there are out there who like to wake up before 6am to start their day. It's a struggle for me to wake up before 7am...but I do know a few super hard working regimented guys who wake up around 4:30-5am most days.LPHA said:

The big question I have is if leaving at 4:20am is normal for him or not. For many folks, there's no red flag there at all, and a carjacking-gone-wrong would be the likely angle. For others, it would be a HUGE red flag that would take the investigation into a very different direction, such as a drug deal or other type of rendezvous-gone-wrong scenario.
Suicide or trying to run away to another life don't make any sense with his truck being torched, although I guess neither could be ruled 100% out based on what's being reported.
The outcome of this could literally be anything, but sadly, I'm pretty sure it won't be good.

I'm sure both of those clubs have people working out at that hour. Where I (pretend) to work out, I think it technically opens at 5 but I know you can go earlier.
If that was something he's done before though I feel like they would have gone down that path already tho.
I also think if the authorities thought it was a car jacking gone wrong they probably would have mentioned that by now, no reason not to share that. There are tran star cameras all over the city and at most of these intersections which would have caught that car jacking.
I understand that an individual (not the missing person) was seen leaving the scene of the vehicle and down Clay Road before he disappeared. That's who they are trying to catch on cameras in the area.
Let's hope they find that person of interest

One running theory is that he routinely picked up day laborers (in construction and picked them up early in the am). Something might have gone sideways there.

I don't see anything in this thread that is inappropriate. Every "rumor" posted here is something the real investigators would see as a potential lead, and I can guarantee they are pursuing them as possible factors into this mystery.Mikeyshooter said:AndesAg92 said:

The wife's comment about "hide it from your husband"? Probably just a stupid joke we all tell from time to time, but it's worth looking into.
Picking up day laborers? Happens all the time and rarely results in murder, but it's worth looking into.
Contract dispute and possibly owing people money? Happens all the time and doesn't seem like enough to warrant a murder, but it's worth looking into.
Maybe some comments have been cleaned up by the mods, but based on what I see here currenly, none of this is in poor taste or inappropriate.
