Sitting in the front listening to an RR song right now.

Hope I can see him live one day.

He's only been around for about 20 years now. How have you never seen him?

It's a long, sordid story.

Well hell, you've got time tonight since you're not going to the concert. Let's hear it!

Well this is awful. He is either drunk or high, but has zero energy.

Kin Faux was a really entertaining opening act. Their energy definitely did not carry over.

What's the capacity of the venue? It was full, but not to the point of being uncomfortably packed, and everyone seemed to have a good time.

First time in a couple years that I went to a concert there. Every time I go to WOMH, it reminds me how much I dislike that venue.

What do you dislike about it? It's been great every time I've been. Mainly talking about lawn shows.

Been a few times. Saw Turnpike there last year. Can't recall which time it was, but I was at a lawn show and it was absolutely stagnant as hell waiting on the lawn for the sun to go down. Sweat was dripping from everywhere…EVERYWHERE!!

You mean you went to an outdoor venue in Houston and it was stagnant, hot, humid and you were sweating your ass off?

Oh the horror!!!!

Wasn't surprised by the fact that it was all the above. Just that WOMH seems significantly worse than other outdoor venues.

This was the first lawn show I attended but I thought it was great as well. Sound was good, sightlines were great, the only even remotely negative thing I could say was the fact that they only sold about half the beverages on the menu because everything was out of stock. For my non-beer drinking GF, the limited supply of non-beer options was a bummer, but beer-swilling me did fine. Aside from that I enjoyed the venue.

I could build a stage in a field, get some mobile bathrooms and put a bar in a storage container and make a fortune off concerts too.

Sounds simple enough. Why don't you?

Saw him with Gary Allen in Corpus a couple months ago. Gary killed it, but Randy was not good. He sung like he was very drunk and played maybe 75% of the show with only his newest crap. I saw him a couple times back when I was still in College Station and he was way better back in those days.

I like the venue. It's a close intimate setting that let's you get close to the stage if you wanted to. I do wish they had better beer varieties though

But my biggest pet peeve is all the audience talking. Due to sound ordinances next to neighborhood, they can't blare the speakers. JFC why go to a concert and talk so fkn much?? I stood dead center on the middle walkway and could hear people talking from all angles. It was annoying AF!

What other outdoor venues besides Woodlands are there in Houston to compare it to?

Actually, it was breezy, not even remotely hot, and quite pleasant, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice of a June evening it was.

I got annoyed by a loud talker at the show I went to there. Figured it was mostly due to the number of GA tickets crammed into the space.

I don't understand people who go to concerts and have to talk the whole time, projecting their voices to compete with the band for their friends' attention. Then when the one song they know comes on, they start explaining what's so great about that one song instead of shutting up and listening to it.

If they had more March and April Lawn shows it would be a great venue imo. Yes, the summer heat does suck there when the wind isn't blowing. When there's a breeze it's actually not too bad after 7:30-8ish.

Some of my fav roots/reggae bands from Cali played a few summers there and then I think eventually threw in the towel and started playing diff venues or skipping the city altogether. Kind of can't blame em.

Dude…the worst. And I'm not the type to normally give a sh** about stuff like that…but when it's right next to you, and actually taking away from the show or taking away from a good time with your gal…makes me think bad thoughts…

GIF perfectly sums up my thoughts to that yuppy dbag. I think they finally noticed how I and others who were trying to enjoy the show were looking at them. Nobody cares about your landscaping and cruise plans, Todd.

Sat in front of two finance bros at the Paul McCartney concert in MMP.

They talked M&A the entire time. Loudly. Never stopped.

C'mon, man. The guy on stage was a Beatle, for Pete's sake. It's not like it was a Billy Ray Cyrus show or something.

That reminds me of the first time I felt like an old man at a concert. I was at a Queens of the Stone Age concert at Bayou Music Center and wound sitting behind a row of people who looked like they were a year or less removed from college. They were literally all shout talking to each other over the concert to the point I couldnt hear the music over them. I had to pull the old man card and yell at them to shut up. I was only 30. Way too young to have that happen to me.
