Not sure what type of place you're looking for but there are some good options in the Town Center area.

Japaneiros is "japanese -latin fusion" and has great sushi.

Jupiter Pizza and Waffle is has a solid menu of pizzas, burgers, and sandwiches.

Away from Town Center, Brandani's is south on 6 and is a good option as well. They acutally have a couple of restaurants in the same area. A burger place, a pizza place, and a more formal restaurant and wine bar.

I went to Jupiter Pizza and Waffle over the weekend and it was incredible. Highly recommend

Whiskey Cake is pretty good

PF Chang is always good though a chain

If you're willing to drive a bit Lopez Mexican is my fav Mexican place in Houston

Jupiter is our favorite. Fantastic Happy hour prices. Order the Angry Rooster or the Daised & Confused pizzas.

There are a lot of options just within the Town Square. In addition to what has already been listed:

• State Faire - upscale casual American food
• Guru - Awesome burgers
• The Rouxpour - Cajun food
• Flying Saucer
• Perry's Steakhouse

Not in Town Square but close by:

• Thai Cottage
• Grimaldi's Pizza
• Lupe Tortilla

I'll second Japaneiros. And it's not just sushi.

Also, get the avocado soup.

Why limit yourself to SL? There's a great bar and grill (colorado sports bar and grill) right up 59 inside the BW.

Pretty much the places listed at SLTC already, though I like Grimaldi's pizza as well and it hasn't been mentioned.

Just up the road is a little ice house/grill - Live Oak Grill. Used to go there quite a bit for lunch when I worked not too far away. Damn good burgers, philly cheese steaks, etc. and a cool little place. Laid back, very Chicken Oil or Koppe Bridge feel to it.

Tornado Burger isn't too far either, and they make badass burgers and what not.

Vino n Vinyl in the square is a really good little bistro menu

Jupiter is now on my list for going to even though its all the way in Sugarland.
