Is there anywhere in Houston that serves traditional fondue that's NOT The Melting Pot?

I've had the fondue at Cru (it's fine), as well as the goat cheese fondue at Whiskey Cake (also good, but not traditional fondue).

If you've ever been to Banff/Lake Louise and eaten at a fondue place there, that's what I'm talking about.

It's my birthday this weekend, and this is one of my favorite things to eat.

It's not "out", but the cheese area of HEB used to have these pre-packed fondue cheese bags that were actually pretty good. Not as good as in Switzerland, but in the ballpark.

I've never seen that at HEB, but it's certainly an option. I'll have to look for it.

I've got an old-school avocado green fondue pot from the 70s and thought about making my own.
