I live in the DFW area & I have a great VW mechanic but my daughter now lives in HOU. Her VW Tiguan is acting up. Any reliable, honest & fairly priced VW mechanics? I just don't want her to get taken advantage of. I am considering bringing the car back to Dallas to get repaired but I am unsure if that is an option at this point. Thanks.

Orion Auto Service. I wouldn't say he's cheap, but seems honest and does good work. He sends a detailed quote sheet before he starts working. Usually includes pictures (worn breaks, etc). Would give you the opportunity to review before she gives green light to perform work and no surprises when she picks it up

I have had my VW for over a decade and I always take it to Jay at Excel Automotive Technology. I was referred to him when another well-known shop suggested him for a major repair as they thought he was the best in town.

I have been very happy with all of the work he has done for us on our two VWs.
