I do need to get a professional appraisal done....And its not going to be a small job.

Are there any professional appraisers out there in Houston that would do a big appraisal job (volume...not necessarily value) that wouldn't try and buy anything from me. Just a simple...this is the appraisal...kind of work?

I am into metal detecting and I remember a story in Galveston a couple of years back that a guy found a bunch of coins on the beach - walking liberties, silver, Wheaties, Buffalo nickels, etc. seemed like a collection so the metal detector person called the police. Police confirmed that they were stolen from a house the week before.

Person got their collection back at least partially.

Crazy story.

Yes stolen a week before and found a week later but there is no way in hell that I have all my coins documented and truly the only ones I would have are the ones I have sent to pcgs and they have them serial numbered in their datat base

But I am glad he got them back and yes crazy story
