For the last 4 days or so the local weather folks have been talking up a cold front. Now they are backing off it. So, we getting it, or is Billingsly just yankin my chain again?

Space city weather says "nah".
Yeah space city just sprayfarted on that theory
If a weather event is talked about ad nauseum the week before its suppose to happen, its not gonna happen. Hopefully we at least get some damned rain. I've had only a half inch since early July.
I feel like every year a cold front is hyped in September. "I know they usually fizzle out this early in the year but the models show this one to be really strong!"

All Weather folks been hyping this cold front..in CS saying overnight /morning temps in upper 50's and daytime high in mid 70's.
Now it's lows in 70's and highs in upper 80's which I'm sure will turn into 90
There is literally zero point in paying attention to weather forecast

Colorado is sucking it all up before it can get to us. 97* in Denver yesterday, high is supposed to be 37* tomorrow - with snow.
Hold up. That thing swung from 20 degrees below average to 4 degrees above. What a kick in the balls.
The space city guys always said it was No better than 50/50 and they'd believe it when they see it because it's way early fora real cold front.

No, it's not that egregious. But i just find it funny that every weather outlet is forecasting lows of 76-77, which is pretty much normal for right now. Aka, no cold front coming through houston at all. Yet she's really holding onto some hope this cold front makes it.
And as someone who's long run is Wednesday morning, 71 is a pretty big difference, to me, and I would love for her to be the only one right on this. Lack of humidity she's forecasting would also be highly welcomed.

To be fair I doubt she's doing a lot of atmospheric research and is instead just reading what the screen is telling her.

It's in her story, not sure if you can link so screenshot below. When I went back to look her forecast is even more comical. 64 Friday?!?!

Looks like she waved the white flag to me.
Keep going through her stories. She shows it coming into houston Thursday now and slightly weaker. But still coming.

Feels nice in cypress this morning
Noticeable difference in the last hour and a half on the southwest side of town.
Kingwood still feels like swamp ass. They released more humidity from Lake Conroe.
