On this topic, how difficult is it to get one of the rodeo golf carts after each season? Aren't they auctioned off?

I found one decent Used 6 seater over the course of about 6 weeks. Rest were rusted junk. And very few come up.

Ended up buying new. Good luck.

Golf Cars of Houston on Loop 494?

Not much to choose from in Kingwood. Golf Carts of Houston will have inventory but nothing customized if that's what you want.

We purchased one through Laceys's Golf Carts in Tomball and have been very happy. Conroe Golf Cars will have a lot of inventory as well.

There will be a ton on Craigslist or FB Marketplace but many of them will be from dealers/customizers and a few from private party folks. Customization and batteries will determine the majority of the price.

We got ours at Golf Carts of Conroe. Very happy and got what we wanted. They delivered to the very West End of Galveston.

Golf Carts of Conroe supplies them and sells them for like a grand off after Rodeo.

A lot of the equipment out there is donated and then the supplier sells them for a discount. There's no real major deals to be had but you can save a few bucks on something that's just been ridden around on asphalt with no real stress.

For the golf carts of conroe website how do you get the prices? Or do you have to call for them?

They used to have them listed. I guess now you have to go to add to to cart and go through the upgrades. Think they all have a base price of $5995. I'd just call them though and tell them which one you're eyeing and get a price. That's what we did although we ended up getting some upgrades.

We were talking about golf cars on Labor Day. Son in law had bought theirs at Conroe Golf Cars a couple of years ago and was really happy dealing with them. I don't know if this is true but he stated that prices have gone up like 50% during the Covid epidemic. That's insane.

My mother-in-law has a plain Jane EzGo golf car (> 20 years old) that we were talking about either refurbishing with a new body kit, lift, etc. or selling and buying a used one already configured the way we want it. Have not started looking into that yet.

I ended up getting a 6 person gas-powered Club Car from the local dealer at Crystal Beach. It was a rodeo car. Anyway, I'm glad I got it there, because I didn't know that gas was the only way to go, because of battery corrosion in the electric cars.
