That was wild. I was definitely getting 60+ mph gusts and sideways rain here. Broke two large tree branches off my tree that didn't drop anything that significant in previous hurricanes or tropical storms. Lost power as well.
In The Woodlands, very south Montgomery country about 2.5 miles west of I-45 I got about 1 inch of rain in 15 minutes. Rain was coming down hard and blowing wind I might guess around 60 mph.
Lots of down limbs and debris.
Never lost power as our power lines are underground.

Yep. Trees were blowing sideways at one point. I think we got what CAR96 described above. I'm just south of the Montgomery/Harris Co line and a couple miles west of 45. There was a small, very dark red cell of bad weather in our general area on the radar before the power went off.
Power was out for over 4 hours, but the power goes out in my 'hood if a bird farts, so that wasn't all that unusual.
Better stock up on bleach...

I think color is for a specific model. The other number appears to be millibars as was stated. 960 or so should be Hurricane strength.

Wait till Thursday and make that call. Right now they have no idea if its going to go west in to Mexico, northwest eventually into Texas, or hit Louisiana.
