In honor of those that served and sacrificed during WWII, and to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day, the Lone Star Flight Museum and its supporting partners will fly nearly 30 rare and historic warbirds over the City of Houston in an epic aviation event called the Fight to the Finish Flyover.

The Karen's are sharing this idiotic picture that was actually made about the Blue Angels/Thunderbirds flights. It's stupid for both but even dumber when it's shared about this flight.

That reminds me of Zoo threads debating whether we should have game day flyovers during the <crisis of the week>. It's amazing how many people don't understand that pilots and machinery need flight hours.

But if any of those loons were serious, they would cancel their internet service for a couple months and donate the money. They would never do that, of course, because society would feel the loss of their free wisdom.

Well, I was wondering which direction, other than up. I doubt they will be directly above my house because the IAH landing pattern flies directly above my house.

Just listen for them, they don't sound like any other airplanes you are used to hearing.

EDIT: you might watch FlightRadar24 on the day to follow them.

I think your bearings are off. Number 7 is over Longwood (Grant and Louetta). The arrow to the left of 7 is at Telge and Cypress N.Houston.

expect to need to be in direct path or within a mile or two. disingenuous of the flyover organizers to say anything else. they say watch from home, but if everyone stayed at home, at least 3/4 of the city would be disappointed

I could be wrong, but I don't think that FlightAware will show the path of where it will go... it will only show you where it has been. It will be useful to follow along during the flyover, but not ahead of time.
