BTW, Tine board is still great. Someone linked up the thread of Catch stories from 2011 and people were saying back then that "this thread is saving the tine board!".

I was talking about the Barrel last weekend. Last time I was there, I left with a giant bruise and without my credit card.
I stopped into McIntyre's one night shortly after it opened, just to see how they had converted the glory that was La Pachanga, and it was like a mini Washington Avenue reunion. The frosted tips were turning naturally grey, and several had given in to fully shaved heads. Head nods and finger points from people you don't know, bros you don't know showing you funny videos on their phones that their bros sent them. All we were really missing was an MMA fight on the big screen and drunk kids from Katy.Diggity said:

whats crazy is that these crazy party strumpets who were up for getting wasted and and railed by some random dude of yesteryear are today's Karens - frustrates about getting their duties as an HR manager done from home while homeschooling little Addysyn and Brayydyn, posting photos of unacceptable groups of people on next door, harping on anyone and everyone for being too close at the HEB, and making sure everyone knows what a struggle it is not to hit the box wine before 3:00 every day.The Blue Goose said:

No, she's a cat lady now. Even at the club, she's focused on her career instead of landing a man. Now she's pushing 40, has the great job, but is just now realizing that the pool of willing and available men at her age come with things like kids, felony convictions, generally being fat, being much older and on the verge of grandchildren, and other Similar issues.
Now the strumpet that appears to be dancing on an oversized couch in some really aggressive/eff-me heels for sure landed a guy making money in the oilfield and has since gone full-Karen somewhere in the exurban sprawl of Houston.

There's an unsung hero of the Washington and Midtown scene from the '00s who doesn't get his due. He single-handedly organized some of the most epic capacity crowd parties posted on the 'Tine board and helped launch such notable establishments as Drake, Pub Fiction, Shot Bar, Rebel's & Eight. Many a hangover and scholarship dollar (and hookup) are to his credit. That former Howdy Club Director of Events' influence on this city is only overshadowed by the likes of the Allen brothers, Glenn MCarthy, NASA, and Hilary Duff.
Might as well bring back another photo which captured Tine brilliance.
