That Tuesday $0.99 cheese slice special is tough to beat. I think the Louetta location has it on Thursdays.

Fuzzys is overrated and overpriced imho.

Brothers and Tony's are great.

Luna Pizza, Monday special 1/2 off Large but the one on Yale.

Andouille (sp?) Pizza, no green peppers extra Jalapenos and a side of pizza sauce to dip the bread in.

Pizaros - it really is good and its close to my house. Also, its a bit of a nostalgia thing. My son (about to turn 3) LOVES Pizaros and every once in a while, he will ask me to go for a ride in my car, will get in, buckle up, and we will pull out of the garage. Once we are on the road, he'll ask, "go get pizza, dada?" Then we go pick up Pizaros and we all eat together at home.

Star for deep dish

Tony's NY Pizza on Jones for NY style

Never been to Pizaro's

Not a huge fan of Brothers although I know they're quite popular.

The other ones that were franchised by the family are. Old man Fuzzy does a good pizza at the original location as far as I'm concerned.

Just a heads up on Luigis in midtown - there are two now. One is the one everyone is mentioning - next to Alexlrad and another one unrelated is in the old Ponzos spot next to doghouse.

I miss Ponzo's sandwiches.

Tony's is also a favorite of mine. Legit. Where's the 2nd location? I've only been to the one on Jones Rd.

** Oops. Nevermind, just read it's on Louetta.

Agreed. The franchise locations are terrible but the original is still a great pizza.

Went to Tony's on Louetta today. I've driven by it for years but won't make that mistake again. It's fantastic.

The original off Jones is even better! Same owners and everything just something different. The owners are great people too

Pinks had been my go-to for years, but took a decidedly townward turn in quality over the past couple of years. It used to be great having it delivered next door to Shepherd Park Draught House to be enjoyed over a few beverages.

Tony's is excellent. Vero is great too and not far from there.

Locatelli's is also a favorite.

Mellow Mushroom is pretty good.

But pizza is like burgers or BBQ. There's a peak at how good it can really be.

This may be the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life.

Any of you in "East San Antonio" try Rosati's on FM 723 just south of Westpark Tollway (Cinco Ranch area)? Chicago transplants seem to think it is the closest to home they have found in greater h-town if that you like that style of pizza. Been wanting to try it.

My three favorites...
RC's
Locatelli's
Brothers

I love the way Barry's Pizza tastes, but it always gives me the shi+s.

And while Double Dave's Pepperoni Rolls are awesome I acknowledge their pizza is just average. Except for their Naughty Dave pizza in December. It is quite possibly the best single pizza ever.

Used to eat Rosati's occasionally when I lived in Phoenix. Not bad, but Chicago style pizza is not as good as NY style.
