I wouldn't classify Catty Corner as a "yuppy dive" at all...maybe it used to be years ago before Crowbar and the mini breweries on Wakefield and bars just inside the loop came in? Hardly any yups in there ever. Sometimes they stop by to go "slummin" for a drink or two but its mostly blue collared and modest locals. Its def not cholo'd out like Vara's though. Or like Buffalo Fred's used to be esp on Thursday nights (me and my buddy exited that place while some vatos decided to do a drive by on the place years ago).

EDIT: I guess you've got a point...def a yuppie bar by comparison to places like Vara's and Ray Rays on Collingsworth.
