Anyone in Htown area/ West Houston had to replace a fence lately? What might be the going rate for a cedar plank fence 6 feet high plus rot board, 3 rail? Any company recs? I have one bid and is $30/ linear foot. Their work is quality. Pine would be cheaper. Thanks.

I'm in the process now. It seems $23-25/ft is the rate. Don't have a name bc everyone is 2-3 weeks behind.
Paid $25 a foot in 2016 for cedar, wasn't the cheapest but could do it the soonest and I had an emergency. Fences by Shane,quality work.

My guys were $23/foot with a 6" rot board, three rails, and new cemented posts. $21/pressure treated pine
6ft cedar with a rot and 3 rails cost should be 15-18. So 30 seems high
I did 8ft pickets with a 2x12 Rot with 4x4x12 posts for under $20 per and that was my retail cost of supplies and me building.
You should be able to find decent quality for 23-25.
Now bigger rot with a top cap will push it up to $30

Just price at material and get a cost of materials and then you can see if it what they are charging is reasonable for labor and profit
