There's a guy on this board who makes the best steak in town. I'd never eat out after trying his.

Steak at home per Tine board:
Salt generously with kosher salt and rest for 1 hour.
Rinse and pat dry, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and one of 5 steak seasonings.
Vacuum seal and cook in sous vide at 122*
Remove from water bath and place in 275 degree oven till internal temp reaches 125*
Rest 10 minutes while getting your BGE ripping hot.
Sear steaks on BGE 25 seconds each side.
Smother in steak sauce
Brag about great steak on TexAgs
Serve

Not strictly a steakhouse but Ritual is pretty damn awesome IMHO.

Boy that's the damn truth. I travel to El Paso for work and you can't find a decent steak out there.
If you aren't dry aging your own steaks at home, you're doing it wrong.

They're chains and not local or expensive enough for Tine Board standards. Absolutely nothing wrong with the OP taking his girl there.

Very good. I just wouldn't put them top tier. Same with Mortons , Ruth's, Vallones...
Though I have heard Lynn's is top tier, havent been though.

Just take her to the Aquarium and take a spin on the wheel for great skyline views and also the inevitable finger bang express.

I would add steak 48 in there and be ok with anyone saying any of those are best in Houston.
B&B is most overrated and overpriced steak I've ever had.
