Not to quibble, but I think McGuff's post about her said she did not renew the contract, not the station. Might be a case where she is waiting out a non-compete to go to work for another station in town. As a journalist who claims to specialize in crime reporting, Houston is certainly a target rich environment for her.

Never really stopped us before -- Mexican weather girls, softball chicks, NFL wives, etc.

She went to A&M, which is about 90 miles from the Tine. That's enough.
