I got the impression they tried to replace her with Christine and then after about 6 months they brought in Daniela instead. Makes me think Christine's rich white chick ice queen look didn't play as well with viewers as Dominique's did. You're wrong. That's a great pic.
I'm not sure Christine was ever tagged as Dom's replacement. Pretty sure Dom's retirement came as a surprise and Christine took up the role while they secured her replacement. It's also possible that CN wasn't interested in working evenings/nights permanently.
