Real estate attorney is a pretty broad range. What kind of real estate?

Residential

We have a major problem with our house. It was never disclosed during the purchase/sale process. The previous owner finally admitted to knowing all about the problem last week via text. Lastly, the previous owner was our real estate agent. She claims to have told either me or my wife verbally about the problem but doesn't remember who. I know that never happened because I wouldn't have bought the house

Did they disclose they were agent t you when it was purchased? Dosent matter. Just gauging how shady this guy is. As a Realtor myself.....go get em, OP. What a bum.

The fact that he admitted it leads me to believe he feels guilty. He knew better. Have you mentioned the problems to him and been up front about him needing to.make them right ? It's a huge risk for him if he doesnt.

Yes I have the sellers disclosure and there is no mention of the problem. I now have proof that they had knowledge of the problem prior to the sale.

Aside form this...what kind of problems? Inspection missed them or are they not outwardly obvious?

not outwardly obvious. Inspector missed them but looking back I don't know if I trust the inspector either. It is too long of a story to explain in detail.
