My wife and I have lawn seats (GA) to the Turnpike Troubadours concert at White Oak Music Hall on Friday. We've never been and my wife is about 5 months pregnant. She was wondering if there is room to sit. Do most people stand there or are they seated on the lawn (like at Cynthia Woods)?

There should be plenty of room for y'all to sit.

Saw a sold out indie rock show there not too long ago, and there was room to sit on a blanket like at CWMP. It's situated much differently, but if you get there relatively early you'll be fine.

I'm going to that show too. Y'all know my wife is high maintenance like a benz out of warranty; anyone know if small lawn chairs like a helinox are allowed?

No chairs. I don't even think they allow blankets. The place really isn't that big. I know I said there will be room to sit earlier which there should be, but you can't really carve out your own picnic sized circle like at the Pavilion. It's still a 1000-1500 size person venue outside. Bigger than HOB but smaller than Warehouse Live.

Thanks for the responses! The wife is a pretty cool chick (that's why I married her), so I am not worried about her complaining. She just specifically requested having the option of sitting down because carrying that alien around in her stomach makes her feet tired.

Only went to the first show they had there and the only people sitting were in the very back on the steep hill. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to see over the standing people.

how is the air circulation there? worried it will be miserably hot Friday night. Are the shows on the lawn usually body to body or is there plenty of space?

Here's what you can expect. Saw the Pixies a couple of months ago and it was almost exactly like this.

Gotta say - saw Tenacious D last night at WOMH - there's not even room to scratch your ass.

Was surprised they went with that venue. They could have probably filled up 713 music hall which is like twice the capacity.
