Local Foods and the Conservatory are both only a few blocks away. We've walked it, but if you didn't want to, it's only a few bucks for an Uber that short.

Edit: I wouldn't consider my two suggestions as "nice" as they are both counter order with no waitstaff, but they're good places to grab a bite before the show. If you're looking for a date spot with waitstaff and a multi-course meal, go with some of the other suggestions.

We always like to hit Reef, Ibiza, Damians or B&B Butchers before a show. It's easy to drive to the underground garage across from Hobby Center and walk through the tunnel.
