Exactly. Went on 3 bachelor parties in a row to NOLA until somebody broke the trend and got a beach house in South Padre. It will be an obvious change of pace, but we are excited about the fishing more than anything

Vegas and NOLA are great, but there are MANY other great options:

Costa Rica - rent a villa with staff, fishing, town, gambling, extra curriculars at the house
Cabo - pretty much ditto
South Texas or Louisiana blast and cast
Belize or Guatemala
Charleston / Kiawah - golf weekend
Islamorada / Key West
Redneck Riviera

Lamest BP I ever attended was when the bachelor and his fiance arranged to meet up at the end of the night at a club when the party was "over." I'm sure she guilted him into doing this. Who in the hell does this? The entire BP was one night, basically only a few hours. Dude didn't understand the purpose of a BP. It's not for the groom to be, but his already married friends. Thanks for ruining that night @ss hat.

My friends and I rented a house on the Frio River for four nights one summer weekend. We had a blast drinking, crawfish, poker, floating river, and BBQing.

I have zero desire for Las Vegas. Gambling does not appeal to me one bit.

New Orleans I can do and have a blast.

Have also done bachelor parties in Lake Tahoe, Aspen, Lake Calcasieu, Cabo, South Padre, Lake Travis and other places that were a whole lot of fun.
