Holy slant Batman.
I prefer this article.
http://www.click2houston.com/news/middlelands-music-camping-festival-a-successA few things...
Quote:
the first time the Texas Renaissance Festival has allowed someone else to use their space for a big event.
This is far from true. This scale, perhaps, but there have been events drawing out thousands of people that were hosted at Texas Renaissance Festival that are otherwise not run or associated with TRF.
Quote:
There was 42 arrests made for narcotics possession
42 arrests out of ~75,000 attendees isn't too bad, especially considering how aggressive the local police were.
Quote:
"These people were primarily from out of state. They range from California, New York and Pennsylvania. They were from all over," said Kindale Pittman with the Grimes County Sheriff's Office.
This is completely untrue, unless they are specifically referring to the 42 people arrested. It would make sense that the majority of those who were reckless were from out-of-state and didn't appreciate what might happen to them in Grimes County for behaving how they do in California or New York.

Watson lives about a mile away from the Texas Renaissance Festival grounds. She said the music was so loud Sunday that she could hear every lyric and sing along.
She heard every lyric and sang along to electronic dance music? Amazing!
Also bad bull on publishing literally every person arrested's mugshot on the article. Trashy journalism.
