I went to Perry's last night and had a 12oz filet. It was really good - on par with the best steaks. My servers, on the other hand, you could tell would not get hired at V&A's or Pappas. Not very polished and a little methy. Nice tho.

Go Brazilian for your anniversary. Seriously tho - Brazilian steakhouses are an option if you like excellent meat, lots of different cuts, & good wine. You'll def get your $50 bucks worth.

V&A's has always been our favorite, crab cakes are legit, never had anything less than an awesome steak and service is top notch as well. Desserts are legit as well, highly recommend the bread pudding.

Pappas is great as well, I just prefer V&A.

I miss The Strip House.

Smith & Wollensky I always found to be more of a guys night out kind of place than a date place, old school. That's where I want to go if I just want a solid steak and to have an old fashioned or two. Also, they have the best creamed spinach.

Brennan's is top notch, might be my second favorite place after V&A.

I enjoy dining at eddie v's...both for the food and the prostie watching in the bar area. bone-in fillet is solid.
