Checked out Sam's boat in the Towne Lake Boardwalk. Didn't realize it was the same owners as the one off Richmond. Service could use an upkeep in efficiency, but any new opening is going to be like that.

Finally a fun place in this area (Towne Lake, Bridgeland, Copperfield) that isn't 20 years old, and its got a water view.

Good Crawfish, will be going back

I went to the one by Kemah the other day. most flavorless crawfish I have ever eaten. Its why I rarely eat crawfish in public. too hit or miss.

Sam's Boat on Richmond was fun 20 years ago.

in suburbia, retention ponds are definitely considered "water view."

It was good! It'll get better and when the lake area is finished, that lake will look a lot nicer.

Is that the one that had the pool? Had some good times there too back then.

Don't remember a pool. It was an actual boat right by the Hilton Clear Lake. Unless you considered the pool at the Hilton to be the pool.

I haven't been to the new Sam's Boat further out Nasa Road 1 near Kemah.

Didn't know it was open yet. I'll have to check it out
