I assumed jail or termination, but someone told me he just up and left the state. The lesbian ladies are running a much better operation though I must say. Man that guy partied harder than any of us ever will.

Colorado is what I've been told. And yes, the lesbos are doing a bang up job.

I agree the gals have made improvements. It's different, but mostly better.

Billy was greatness. I remember him once giving me so much **** bc I was pull hooking the hell out of my driver. He's cool.

The big loser in this deal is probably the hombre who lived in that shed and ran the range.

He sold to the ladies, he was going to close the place as he wasn't making money

Miss the guy. He could be a little tough to bear sometimes. Like when he's tripping on acid on a Tuesday and is calling people aged 13-70 a p$$sy for not shotgunning a boilermaker with him at 6pm. But for the most part, a total Tine legend. Talmbout!

He never owned it. It was owned by a couple of guys, maybe three, I've been told but I can't remember. I know the guy who owned it before well though. Cheesecake just ran it for them, if you could call it that.
The Lizzy's, and all before, lease the land from the brick company next door (Acme?, Boral?, I can't remember.) They've got a pretty favorable, long term deal.
I've gotten to know the head muncher pretty well. She's a sip, played on their ladies golf team but she's cool in my book. Me and my son have taken lessons from her and she's really helped.
Cheesecake was a trip though wasn't he? I'd go in there after a bucket and drink some beers, I'd put my money on the counter and he'd always say, "don't worry this is on me". Then he'd go back in his office (room, home or whatever it was) and bring out enough **** to tranquilize an elephant.
A great story teller and a Tine legend to be sure.

There could be women and children out there and it wouldn't keep him from yelling "hey man you still suckin a lot of d***?!" to me from halfway across the range.

One of the co-owners (aggie'so husband) sold his share bc ol'cheesecake was ordering ladies of the night to the trailer. The co-owner caught it on video.

Funny that that was the last straw for that guy. It wasn't the clouds of weed smoke and him being completely sh*tfaced and belligerent during business hours and scaring away many potential regulars.

Here he is on a beautiful morning (most likely hasn't gone to bed yet) giving some inspirational words of wisdom to Tiger Woods...

Been going to that place for years and even back when it was Bruner's off of Bingle.

I deduced that he was a raging alcoholic and was running the business in the ground, but I had no idea this guy was a Tine legend.

He told me a few months back that he was celebrating his birthday. Got to the range that morning and said **** it. Bought a pack of smokes and l some brews. Hopped on a train at the tracks near the place and rode it out to Cypress. Then walked back.

Cheesecake is my Bill Braskie.

Ran across this because I was curious what he's up to now. He did move to Colorado. That guy was a lovable lunatic. My friend and I used to live near by and Cheesecake ended up introducing us to his weed hook-up. He lived at the range, I went out there one night to play poker, drank about 15 Keystones and smoked one of his big ass bowls of weed. I could barely muster to walk home afterrible. He smoked weed out there every day. He got fired from the range because he was taking money from the till and using it to pay prostitutes. I know because he freely told it to me himself. (He didn't have any cash on him and was planning on paying it back) That guy was a character.

Pure nostalgia, right into my veins. More than once there was a father with his kids in between me and him on the range and he'd yell "hey xxxxx, you still suckin d?!". This was after said families had gone into his skunky weed dungeon to buy a bucket and maybe a few snacks or refreshments. I have never met anyone with less of a filter.

Yeah that was back in my 20s when I had first moved to town. It was a rowdier time in those days.

I think they may try to develop it into high density housing at some point, but it sits on top of an old quarry that Acme used for brick materials, so I think the developer has a lot of environmental hurdles to clear.

Went up there with a buddy of mine who lived down the street from me one time and it started pouring right as we were buying buckets. Billy invited us to stay and smoke and drink beer with him. I had low tolerance around then and took one hit and was on the moon within a few minutes. We hung out for a bit and listened to his stories from the glory days about bouncing clubs and celeb encounters and escapades with ladies of the night, and then he decided to bring out his shotgun and start playing with it like a prop. Only time I ever truly felt a little uncomfortable around him.

My wife usually can't stand trashier people, but she was highly entertained by him. We used to have a picture of her on top of that giant concrete gorilla about 200 yds out on the left side of the range.

What a blast from the past thread.

I'd be sad if this wasn't the ****tiest range ever
