This is an outstanding plan for the Dome that will cost taxpayers nothing and provides a real life and purpose for the Dome. The OTC is already on board as are others who see the need for more floor space and parking.

I love the Houston area but his is one reason why I'm glad I don't live in Harris County, Ed Emmett is a delusional hack. I have some great memories in the dome but it's too far gone and needs to be leveled and turned into a parking lot.
The last NFL or MLB game held in the Astrodome was 1999. It is crazy the structure is still standing 17 years later.
here's the deal...Ed Emmett doesn't want the dome torn down on his watch. He doesn't want to be known as the guy that destroyed a Houston landmark
so why even put it to a vote on that referendum from a while back?
