I'm wanting to join a "box" and was wondering if anyone on here has any personal experience with either of the following crossfit places.

1. Crossfit memorial Houston
2. Grindstone crossfit
3. Fifth gear criossfit
4. Crossfit 1525

I'm also checking yelp for reviews.

I know this post may open up a can of worms lol but I'm serious about joining

Ehh, not much chance of a can of worms being opened. At the moment, everyone is focused on a certain wedding venue.

a colleague of mine is a trainer at crossfit memorial. i've never been to that one myself because while it's close to my office, i have another box 5 min from my house in katy (crossfit katy).

Too far from here I live, all of the places above are 2-3 miles from my house

Drop in on Saturdays and check each of them out. Make sure the coaches know what they are talking about and that the ratio of clients to coaches is no more than about 10:1.

I guess technically that is on the west side of town, if the middle of town is I 45.

I don't know who talks more about crossfit, crossfit haters or people that do crossfit.

Not sure if it's close enough to you but I know the owner of Triumph Strength and Conditioning in Spring Branch and would highly recommend it.
