I didn't.

My MIL was Marvin's favorite waitress at Matranga's. That's my closest connection to Dave Ward outside of charitable stuff.

For me more 1990s. However, I had a beer at Goode Co Seafood on Bissonet and he sat next to me and we had a great chat about 3 years ago. He is still out there...

Where was Gina Gaston for Dave's sign off.... seems weird she's been out for the past few days.

In any event, ABC13 has been airing bits and pieces of an extended interview Melanie Lawson did with Dave about his career over the past few days across all their newscasts. The stories from Dave have been pretty awesome.
