My favorite Astroworld ride was standing on the bridge over 610 and looking back at Houston's own Eighth Wonder of the World, The Astrodome. Truly a sight to behold.

Anyone who says otherwise really disturb me.

Really none. Hated the whole park. Biggest ripoff. Tried to enjoy with family when my boys were young. Food sucked, thug kids everywhere and the park was dirty.

Once you go to a Disney Park it makes parks like astroworld really a bad experience.

No love for Taz's Texas Tornado? Granted it was always shut down, but it had 6 damn loops in it.

Also - Mayan easily the worst. We went when it was brand new and waited in line for hours for it.

As a kid back in the 70's, Astroworld was awesome. Dexter Freebish was my personal favorite, Bamboo Chute, River of No Return, Alpine Sleigh Ride, Cyclone, Horizon's, etc. Greased lightning was fun but too short for a long wait in the sun.

Went once post college in the early 90's it was obviously quickly sliding downhill. Never went back.

Had a buddy damn near lose a hand on Excalibur, the hard turn that was at ground level if you raised your arms up you could touch one of the steel bars.
