I think it was a one off for now. I could see them bringing back on a semi regular basis.

To my knowledge, it's going to be something that they have every weekend. I went down to Pearland yesterday morning. The kolaches were great!

Do it right - dice up the jalapenos and mix in with the meat and/or cheese

Otherwise, those look phenominal.

Not sure if you are joking, but they usually have them on the inside as well, they just put one on the top to tell the difference between jalapeno and regular.

Not joking, and didn't see anything addressing this in the article or the pictures.

I'd still buy the hell out of one, don't get me wrong, but many places do the single jap on the bread and call that the jalapeno version. And that's just wrong on multiple levels.

VERY late to the game. My brother's been making these for years now, and his are superb. He's experimented with several BBQ based fillings.

We've sold these at Shipley's too. They went over well, but I was told it was a pain in the ass (not sure which part of the process was), so I doubt it's coming back. Great idea though. This Killens version looks awesome.

Not too difficult for my longhorn brother-in-law who manages the store. The Big Earl was invented at our location, and Earl stops by regularly to visit, so he loves it. I couldn't care less as long as people keep buying them.

(Yes, I'm doing my best to give a straight answer and ignore the other way that question could have been taken.)
