I fell in love with Mr. G's Pizza back in CS and am looking to find a new place to get my fix in Houston. I live in the Willowbrook area so where's the best place to get some great pizza?

Locatelli's at Grant and Louetta has fairly good pizza for being OTL and isn't far from Willowbrook.

The best pizza in town is Grimaldi's. Star was ok the times I've had it. Pinks was good but unremarkable. For Italian style try pizaro's.

For Authentic New York style, you go to Antonio's off Hilcroft and Westheimer

Pizza zone's other location on Kuykendahl at cypresswood is our regular take out/delivery place. Much better than Hut, dominos or papa johns.

In Willowbrook area?

Go to Tony's New York Pizza on Jones between Fallbrook and 1960. Its in one of those small strip centers.

Luigi's in Midtown is worth the drive. Best pizza I've had in Houston.

Star pizza is almost a liquid. The Greese is overwhelming.

Pizaro's is simply the best pizza in Houston

Grimaldi's also makes a helluva pizza, but don't tell the ITL hipster dewshes, because it's a national chain.

Dolce Vita is great and i really like the pizza at Benjy's believe it or not

This place is a family favorite. Glad it's still open.

If that is the Antonio's I think it is, first time I went there was 1976. It was the first place I had been where they actually tossed the dough in the air. It was great. They would put on a show for the kids watching.

romano's tastes like mall pizza. i couldn't figure out why people loved NY pizza after i ate there. then i had grimaldi's and figured out what the appeal was.

Tony's is really good and on Wednesday lunch they have $1 cheese slice (pretty big slice too).

Also in that area is Vito's on Spring Cypress across from Gleannloch Farms. They also make a really good cheese steak.

Another thumbs up for Mellow Mushroom. It is near Stubner and Cypresswood, not too far from Willowbrook.

I also like NY Pizza and they do have that location across from Willowbrook near the AMC theaters and Buffalo Wild Wings.
