All the reason we bought in Spring Shadows last year.

Think the area is a good halfway point from Heights, midtown, downtown, etc and the energy corridor.

i went to go to that starbucks near guadalajara by the new murphy building earlier in the week where the ballys used to be, didnt realize they tore that ho down. had to go to sh*tty echo lane

I am in 77079. I love the area, and my house has appreciated a ton over the 24 months I've owned it, but I'm never going to be able to upgrade.

The next level houses have just skyrocketed.

$450k houses 2 years ago are now $600....and some $650k houses are bordering $800-900k.

Home appreciated sucks if you want to stay in the same area and upgrade.

I've heard rumors about a Whole Foods going in at Bunker Hill for over a year now but this is the first I've seen it in print. The Zaza is a complete surprise to me.

After considering $30k/yr for 2 kids x 13 years, it makes Memorial seem quite a bit less expensive than you originally thought.

I like the spring shadows location, but what are you going to do about schools? Those schools are as bad or worse than the Heights.


Still sell his house for significantly more than what he bought it for? I highly doubt his home value is going to decrease.
