Looking to build a home and have interviewed several builders at this point. We like the following guys but were interested to hear feedback outside of builder offered references if possible...
BAS Concepts (Brian Silver)
Cason Graye (Bryan Phillips)
RG Custom Homes (Roy Gabbay)
Any information is appreciated!

Cason Gray and RG were both in the Bellaire Fall home Showcase a couple of weekends ago. The RG house was awesome. The Cason Gray seemed to be built well, but it was a really ugly house. They (CG) also had a super modern home in the Showcase that I skipped entirely.

I'd go by and ask the homeowners how they liked the process.

Know a builder at Cason Graye, he is a good Construction Manager.

Morris is pretty nice for a custom home.

Thanks for the feedback. We saw almost all the homes on the tour and I agree the RG home was awesome. Roy just happens to be a really new builder, think he's only put 7 up total. That is sort of scary as I'm sure he's still learning. I'll check out Morris as well. Keep the advice coming!

Curious, what steered you away from Blum?

I wouldn't let the newer guy RG scare you away because he has only built 7 homes. Knowing the business, newer also might mean more eager to please/build his business and more attention, and also more open to newer technologies, and products, etc. Trust me, homebuilding isn't difficult from a tech standpoint once you have built 2-3, but having someone pay attention to every detail during construction and having a good subcontractor base is key. I have no interest in any of these builders, just a general comment.
