I know a few people who are members are there and they like it. No hidden "gotcha"s that they've complained about other than cart fees ($16) which is standard at most clubs. It's very cheap for a young membership and seems to me like if you played out there about 3 times a month it would pay for itself easily.
Also, I generally enjoy the layout and the few times I've played it has been in better than average condition. But I'm assuming you've played it already if you're about to join.
The Bunkers 9 is closed right now for renovations so it's down to 18 holes. Dunno when they're planning to open that 9 back up.
It's an year-by-year escalating rate I think. So the older you are, the more you pay. So a 26 year old is going to pay less than a 33 year old. But my buddies are 29-30 and pay like $150/mo. Cheap as F.
just signed up today. Junior membership is currently $140/mo up to age 34. 35-44 is $175/mo. Current initiation fees are $500. Contact Tammy, she's really nice and wants to work with you. Normal memberships are $398/mo.
Good to know there aren't any gotchas. Cart fees would be anywhere but wildcat. But wildcat doesn't have junior membership.
The $140 junior membership includes same access as full membership fwiw.

No monthly concessions minimum and I think it's $20 a month for range use. They have had the bunkers 9 closed for a few months redoing some of the holes. Supposed to be back open this week. For the money, its hard to beat.
played the course 2x this weekend. bunkers 9 was open. love the course. Challenging course due to the location of the sand traps and hazards, and it's definitely worth the money. Let me know if you wind up wanting to join and you can use me as a "referral"
I was a member ther from 1997-2001. Only reason for stopping was my daughter was born and I never had time to play. Was on the junior membership at the time and I would highly recommend it. Loved playing the three nine hole courses. The food was great, especially the little cafe that was downstairs....French onion soup. Always treated first class there. I can remember they had a fantastic brunch and Easter egg hunt for the kids. Santa at Christmas.
I went to high school at Cy-Creek and I remember driving through Northgate and seeing the big gated fence over the driveway with the "A" and "O" on it....was when he still spelled it Akeem.
Might be a stupid question but is there typically a special deal for couples at these places? I would use the place a lot more than the lady, who may only got out there 1-2 times a month. Was in the area for work the other day and drove by the front of the place and it looked really nice.
Junior Membership is full membership so for whatever you pay that includes your family. It's a great value. Course is pretty short but it's normally in decent shape and it has a great group of regulars. Locker room isn't much to look at but there is noramlly always someone in there, great spot to hang out after a round. I was a member for a little over a year when I lived up on the north side. If you are under 35 it cannot be beat.
Maggio, how do you like it so far? Would you recommend? We are close to pulling the trigger on a YP membership as it seems like a steal but were wondering if there are any major cons? TIA
