Band director or choir teacher, I forget which, left his wife and kids for a senior he was having an affair with. This was in Angleton in the mid 90's.
They ended up getting married.
She was very attractive. He was not in her league at all but for some reason she liked him.
Man, I vaguely remember that. I think that happened my junior year, so around '94 or so if I'm remembering correctly (50/50 at best). Pretty sure it was the choir teacher too.
I would say '95 or '96. Last time I saw that gal she was back in town visiting her parents. My gf at the time had us meet her dad and uncle on Southampton and walk over to the football stadium to see Angleton vs Bwood (I think).
When the game was over we walked back down the street and were standing in the driveway chatting and here came that gal. This was probably fall of '97.
My gf and her caught up on things. She was quick to tell my gf that the rumors about her marrying the choir director were true, and they were very happy, and she loved his kids.
She was quick to dispel any rumor that he got her pregnant while she was a senior so his wife booted him and they hurried up and got married. At this point I don't think she had any kids of her own.
She seemed legitimately happy about everything.
I can't imagine how her parents must have handled that.
