1560 local will be off the air by this time next year. Only national YSR shows. Sucks, really enjoyed them...theyre like an old grandfather, slowly slipping into something that looks and acts nothing like the guy i knew and loved. now just time to put them out of their misery.

Fat Ketch replacing Harris is like TCU and W. Virginia replacing A&M & Mizzou in the BDF.
Travis Rodgers isn't that bad. I can listen to him. Mohr is much worse.
I've had Mohr withdrawal the past week while he's been off for vacation. His fill ins suck

Fred does a good job of calling him out when he disagrees too. Does no one else listen to the blitz? Pretty sure I saw they were #1 for their time slot not too long ago..maybe it's an anti ESPN radio thing??

Well, will take 1560 off the preset stations. Not patronizing any station that broadcasts Travis "I so wanna be Rome" Rogers or fat ketch.

Man that was some good radio. 2007-2010 when I was in the Tine, used to drink with Sean over at Jake's when he was a night manager there. He and Kyle Manthey were fun. Good times.

Jerome is a racist who loves to talk about all the high profile people he is "friends" with. Dave knows jack about sports. They're both socially akward. Yeah, lol, it's the worst.
I was wary of Jerome because I don't care for his work at chron but was pleasantly surprised with him in the radio. But his patented makes the show, dude is pretty good. I agree with you that it's bit a hard core sports show, but it's a midday show, none of them are.
Also I don't know if it's bc it's espn but the production quality of that station is vastly better than that of either 790 and 610.

I can't imagine listening to Jerome daily. He filled in for Charlie once a few years ago and I wanted to blow my brains out. Everything he ever talks about is race.
Agreed, i thought his show would be like that but maybe bc it's midday it is a pretty laid back show.

It's a fun rivalry ever since Matt got higher ratings from Houston Press than the earlier shows. ND and Cook also pick on him the same way, using Matt's bits and saying they are their own.
It's why 790 is so much better than 610. All 790 beefs are just fun made up beefs and everyone is friends, whereas 610 the beefs are legit and there is some real dislike amongst personalities there.

I know that it is a pretty small sample size, but I've enjoyed the Sean Pendergast and Rich Lord show so far. My only complaint is that I wish they went 3-7 instead of 2-6.

When Matt told listeners to troll Lance's segment last year with WNBA draft questions.
one of my favorite days was when LZ and AC spent the show purposely driving down the number of followers Matt had on twitter. he'd lost like 25% of his followers by the time his show started.
Too much obsession with twitter. I don't care how many followers you have or anyone else has. I especially don't care what listeners are tweeting.
