Looking for a company that will come and "blow" it onto my front and back yard. TruGreen does not do this.

Jim and April, the former owner's of Backyard Gardner in the height, does it. He just did our yard. They started a new company.

I will get Jim's number to you,

What part of town?

I'm using a company called Organic Lawn Solutions, but I don't know if he is exclusive to Kingwood ro if he travels outside of the "Upper East Side"

Go to Randy Lemmons page on KTRH. He recommends a company, whose name escapes me right now, that uses 2 yr old leaf compost which is ideal for yards.
Best thing is an aeration followed by compost.

ABC Home and Commercial will do it but probably charge an arm and a leg.

Ezra,

Can you post the Organic Lawn Solutions contact info? I'm in Eagle Springs.

I could come "blow some compost" on your yard. $20 would just about cover it.

My company is called Grogan's Lawn Care.

Our slogan is "Grogan's, we really do give a ****!"

website - www.organickingwood.com

His name is Daniel.

If I remember correctly, he is charging ~$90 per 1,000 sq/ft for compost.

I didn't think that was too terrible given that a cu/yd of compost at Nature's Way Resources is ~$40

That's a lot of labor and overhead....

The premium 2 Yr Old Leaf Mold Compost that Randy Lemon preaches is $46 or $55 per yard depending on the size of the screened material that you get.

How big of a yard are you talking about for $685?

Issue is the randy reccomendation is in Conroe or something. have to buy it by the yard and expensive delivery for a small yard. Especially if you want to do it 3-4 times a year. I do reccomend top dressing the yard. Other places say they have compost, but it actually has some sand in it (at least a few years back), so I assume it is more of a enriched leveling fill product.

Past few years, I have just used the bags. Expensive, but the best I could find in West houston.

Living Earth has locations all over town and they have a compost product that you can use.

It may not be the premium stuff that Randy Lemmon recommends, but it's still compost.

There was a guy on the Home Improvement board that said they have a product called "Forest Floor" at some of their Houston locations that is a leaf mold compost - not sure how it compares to the stuff from Nature's Way Resources up in The Woodlands.

ABC Pest & Lawn quoted $89.22 for the aeration and $281.92 for the compost/top dressing.
