Thanks for sharing your experiences with allied or any other Houston foundation repair.

Jericho Foundation in Sugar Land. Known the owners for years.

Before hiring anyone, get a professional engineer out to see if you really need them in the 1st place. And if so, exactly where. Despite the upfront cost it's extremely likely that'll save you money in the long run. They are independent and have nothing to gain whether you need piers or not - unlike the folks from these companies that come out to your house.

My neighbor used Dawson Foundation Repair and loved them. Dawson will most likely not be the cheapest due to the system they use (bell bottom piers), but if I ever need a foundation repaired at my house I will use them.

I think my neighbor got them down on their price by telling them that he would replace the landscaping that had to be removed. All they replaced at the end was the concrete that had to be repoured.

If you are going to stay in your house for the long run I would say that's even more of a reason to go with Dawson. If you are looking to fix it and sell it then go with whoever is cheapest that will fix it and transfer the warranty to the new owners.

Used Allied several years ago and was completely satisfied. Had some additional settling take place last year and they came out and took care of it at no charge under the transferable lifetime warranty.

Thanks for the responses. For some reason, allied's proposal came back in the 5000s while the two other proposals were in the 8000s. The proposed work looked the exact same (hydraulically driven piers).

Wanted to make sure I'm not getting scammed.

I received a low quote from them as well this week on some work. Did you use them? Has anyone else used them? Reviews? Thanks!

I used Allied about a year ago. Kid that came by was owner's son-in-law. Did good work and havn't noticed any settling. I had comparable quotes and they came in the lowest/pier. I own several properties and would use them again.

This is good advice. I like Richard Sewing a lot for this sort of thing.

He's been inspecting slab foundations pretty much since they started being poured.
