So after last night's horrible rain storm and today's continuous rain; we have discovered a small leak above our stairs. It is in an area I can not view from our attic so I am unaware of how big it is. Based on the initial discovery.. I am looking for someone who can repair a small area in the ceiling sheet rock and then the shingles (etc)..... Any ideas?

A friend recommended this company. I also have a roof leak (near the vent pipe), and I'll call them soon. I've gotten by with buckets in the attic since it was raining a lot.

I don't know about roofing repair, but we just got finished having this guy come and do three different sheetrock projects in our house and he did an AWESOME job. I used to do my own sheetrock, but I couldn't do anywhere close to what this guy did. Jose is the guy and he is through Jay Henley plumbing. 713-828-1501.

He is definitely not the cheapest, but incredible work.

After the hurricane, we used Remedy Roofing to replace our roof. I'm not sure if they do any drywall work.

Uh, just call Rose Roofing. He lives on Lakeview. Did our roof, no problems. Came back this spring to check on a leak by the chimney. Resealed it all around and no more problems. Goggle for website amd phone number.

Got Rose's estimate to replace a plumbing vent/pipe and the stuff around it for a good price (in my opinion). Would recommend for future needs in that area. Very fast and friendly and also has a checkup inspection included in the warranty of work within 180 of install.

Last time I had a roof leak, what it actually was was a wad of leaves and pine needles wedged in one of the flashing channels, and with a really heavy downpour, it backed up some water enough to run over the flashing and under the shingles above, and into my house. A ladder and broom fixed that for free. Just sayin.

Your HOA won't care about the giant black blobs!
