Anyone been? Reviews look really good. I'm trying to find a decent Italian place in that area and then head over to Main Street Crossing for date night with the wife.

Hoping to find a place that may have a limited patrons under the age of 5.

Good eats. Older crowd, not many kiddos. Decent bar. Not super fancy.

Really good. The owner regularly makes rounds and small talk. Not many kids at all. Can get on a bit of a wait on weekend nights so plan ahead. Just fyi, Main street crossing has beer/wine, no liquor, so plan for that as well. They have some decent Texas craft brews.

It's good stuff. Great food and portions for the price. The owner is about to open/has opened Geno's Wine Bar in the same center (it's at the front, closest to the road).

As 62strat said, the wait times grow very quickly on Friday and Saturday nights.

Big fan. Owner is a small Italian guy who clearly loves what he does, he's always there and will probably check on you at least once.

Nick's is the same kind of place....the owner is not 'small', but so italian you almost can't understand him through his accent. If he comes over to the table and notices anything out of place, even if you don't say a thing, he will sometimes not so quietly summon a waiter/waitress to fix it immediately. Its awesome! Glad I asked about it...were gonna try it!

I so want some yummy Italian now. Need to try this.

How many people on TexAgs live in Tomball? Apparently more than I thought.

Yes, we would like to go see Max, but ive never been to MSC, and they don't open until 6pm, so I don't know if I can even get tickets still, or if its sold out or what. It looks like a need venue, but like I said, I have no clue. I only found out he was going to be there over from his feed yesterday so im a little late to the game.

EDIT: F---....sold out. Not surprised really....dude's awesome. Standing only...not really wanting to pay that kind of money to stand.....maybe next time.

Is it worth standing for? Ive never been, no idea how its set up.

It's a very small coffee shop, there is no bad place to be. It's one open high ceiling room, no visual obstructions anywhere. In front of the stage is about 10 low tables. Then dividing the entire room in two is a wall with booths on the stage side, and high top long bar on other side. Then there are few high top tables, then the bar/food area.

SRO is perfectly fine at MSC.

I didn't know it was sold out. I should have bought my tickets three weeks ago. So much for that. I'll wait until he comes back thru again. I haven't seen him in a few years and was excited he was going to be back in town. I don't want to stand either.

I have seen Max so many times and in some obscure places that he now laughs and says why does it not surprise me that you're here. I would have really of liked to seen him and his wife play together

I went ahead and got SRO ticket...f--- it...i want to see him. They put me on a list for a table if there is a cancellation....but it doesnt matter. Im looking forward to it!

I love this place

Giannas is amazing. I have never had a bad experience there. Just let it be known, they are not open for dinner on Sunday, I always fall into that trap. Service is good, food is great and like someone else said, the owner is a little Italian guy that will come to your table at least once to ask how you are doing. I believe on Friday and Saturday they have a guy play the piano near the bar. The older couples like to get up and dance. I just referred this place to my boss yesterday actually.

I've seen both women and men eating at Gianna Micheals. Even a few brothers frequent that place!

That would be my luck I move then there's an aggie HH in tomball.

Dudes...the food was awesome. Nice place, great food...left there and went to Main Street Crossing and watched Max Stalling. Talked to him for a second, wife got a pic, etc. We stood for about an hour for the first half and then a table opened up and we sat the second half. It was an awesome evening...great show, great venue. Definitely going to go back to both of these places. Forgot what its like to do things like this without two small kids in tow. Lol.

What strat said. This town has some good things to do and places to eat, just got know where to go.

I've lived in Tomball for 12+ years now and love it....I am on the outskirts of town though.

I live near Monaville. Belleville is OK, the other cities are ****holes. Tomball is a very nice town, Brenham quality in a slightly smaller package. I'm going back for sure. And their gun prices are good. Lol.
