I believe HEB started making fresh white corn tortillas in their tortillarias. I know I've seen them at the us290/barker cypress HEB

You need to go find a hispanic market, like La Michoacana, etc, look for an ice chest right by the check out counter, those are the one's you want, still warm! No all of them have them so you will have to look around. There is also a tortilla shop down Hwy 6, past 529, it's a way down there, I think it's right next to an amerisuites or something like that right next to a hair saloon. They make them fresh there, and I beg to differ that "there is no such thing", you just have to look around.

Maryland is right. You can look up tortilleria on google or try carnicerias like michoacana. Some taco trucks make fresh corn tortillas as well. Fresh ones are great but go stale quickly.

They'll be wrapped in paper, sort of like butcher paper, and yep you have to use them or they go stale in a day or so.

Golden rule for all tortillas: the better they are the worse they keep.

If you want corn tortillas, Lupe Tortillas is the bomb...

Try some of the panaderías around town.
