All you can eat sea turtle buffet at the Galveston campus. Sea turtle / porpoise gumbo with some garlic bread and Shiner Bock.

I don't know the Ferris wheel biblically, but I do know that Landry's didn't have a problem with the ride operator being so high that he turned the ride off and walked away for the night with people stuck at the top. Lol.

And in regards to the anteater, they will have one less set of leather for those shortly. Headed over tonight to talk to them.

Just got done talking with them, the anteater leather just wasn't the color I wanted. But, will definitely be doing some elephant boots through them soon.

tmaggie, I was there last night and I think those sea turtle boots still haven't been picked up. If you offer them a couple hundred extra, they might just "lose" them.

searching the web for some anteaters and came across this thread. im suddenly reminded its been too long since ive had fried turtle.

Those boots look awesome. Still, for most of us, there are places we just don't go - it's just a different spot for many. Usually it's just what life experiences and culture we've experienced. I won't eat dog or shoot a hawk, but woe unto a pig or pheasant. Since I go to the Keys every year, the turtle boots are just a no go for me. I know it makes no sense that I'm comfortable with a cayman, some lizard, or ostrich becoming a pair of boots, but not a sea turtle. But hey that just my opinion.

I've always wanted a pair of sea turtle boots!
