BTD she's an out of network provider, as most of the top of the line ones are. So you pay everything up front, and then insurance reimburses.
i actually had the opposite experience. I ended up going in thinking it was going to cost an arm and a leg and a tooth, but actually ended up only costing a tooth and being pretty reasonable.
Maybe it differs depending on what you got done? I'm not sure if dental practices follow a standard pricing model across different dentists in relation to the services vs the dentist. dunno.
and yeah....they seem to only employ hotties.
