Went to La Finca and it smelled like a hair salon...was told there is a nail salon that shares a wall with the restaurant. Nevertheless, it made for a less than satisfactory dining experience. That and it wasn't busy and I kept catching the bored waiters standing around checking out my wife.

El Jarrito is my favorite.

LOL, I should have anticipated that. Let's just say that they kept looking/staring in our general direction and it made us (well...me) uncomfortable.

Serious question if this made y'all uncomfortable: was this the first time you and your wife have been to a bar or restaurant?

Any dude who has ever worked in a bar or restaurant knows that 95% of "bored" time is spent identifying and staring at the moderately attractively female customers, and finding excuses to walk by their tables. The rest is spent out back smoking cigarettes and shooing stray cats away from the dumpster before they come inside to handle your food and drinks without washing their hands. Bon appetit!
