i've had the fajitas at pappasitos... i guess my sample pool is not too large.. but in terms of fajitas... pappasitos blows el tiempo out of the water...

You've obviously never gotten the pork fajitas at El Tiempo. No one in town has fajitas that can touch those.

I have seen this place show up a few times on the bi-weekly Mexican Food threads around here. Is this the place across the street from Rainbow Lodge at Ella and TC Jester? I used to live right by it, but never ate there. Is it worth a go?
There aer a LOT of people that Love Tony's, I just find it ok.
I'm not sure why there is so much love for Tony's, but yes it is edible.

Spanish Flowers on N. Mayyyne has the best cheese enchiladas with chile con carne that I have ever had. Teohautican on Airline is pretty good as well. People on here HATE Cyclone Anaya's but I really like the one on Durham. Ninfa's on Navigation is really good too.
Guadalajara is pretty tasty, IMO. I like La Hacienda on Memorial.

Unless you are drinking their margaritas. Those things are strong and can cover so so food.
Just got home from Tony's. I'm a big guy and after two ritas I was feeling pretty drunk. Gf had two and was hammered. Food was good as usual. Place went from Friday night gay happy hr to Friday frat convention.

Tony,s enchiladas are strong. The rest is okay from what I've seen.

I like the brisket enchiladas at el tiempo pretty good probably the best I've had. Who has the best enchiladas in town?

Yea, even if you did recommend a place, I wouldn't trust it from a handle named Dr. Horrible.
I went to El Tiempo, but I'll definitely put some of these places down to give them a shot in the future.
Los Tios or Lopez imo.

Taco Keto. It's a taco truck on the east side (ITL). If you are brave enough to find it, you will be rewarded beyond imagination. If not, well at least they say ignorance is bliss.
