For a better crowd, but still great food, try Azuma, Kubo or Osaka

For more Japanese and not just sushi, try Kata Robata or Soma

I'm sure she showers, but that sounds a bit gross (not to mention a little inappropriate for my occasion).

This Azuma on Kirby review looks insanely good. Can't personally vouch for that location, but I eat at Azuma downtown and their sister restaurant Soma a lot.

I disagree with Oishii. It's good (moreso because of the cheap price), but not great IMO.

Sushi Jin is fresh and good to great.

I like Kata Robata as well.

Oishii is my personal fav. I like the gold thoothed Honduran chick that is trained to say "tank yuuuuuuu" in her best far east accent when you leave as well. Love that place.

Another vote for Raku. We tell the waitress what we don't like and have he chef make us whatever rolls he wants with whatever is fresh. It is always outstanding. Fridays they have half priced bottles of champagne, so add a bottle of Moet Imperial for a fabulous meal.
