Guys, I'm going to DF's tonight with some people from work. What is the usually dress there? Can I get away with jeans/khakis and sports coat? Or does it require a suit?

Not been to Del Friscos, but Pappas/V&A's, etc. are all the same.

It's Houston, you'll see folks there in suits and others in blue jeans.

I once saw Kubiak in Pappas Bros in jeans and a tee-shirt. He looked like a dooooosh.

Don't wear jeans. Otherwise you should be cool. Jacket would be nice, but hey, it's Houston it won't be expected.

Tonys might, but def not del friscos. I've walked into del friscos several times with a handful of shopping bags and in shorts and a t-shirt.

Been to V&A's, Pappa Bros, DF and Strip House, all in a pair of jeans and an untucked button down. Never had a problem. My money is just as spendable as the ***** at the table next to me in a suit and keys to a Bentley hanging out of his pocket.
